Idaman Iris is an affordable condominium residence located in Sungai Ara, Penang. The 19-storey single tower was completed in 2013 and houses 448 units.

The freehold homes at Idaman Iris are comfortably spacious with built-up spaces of about 850 sf. Upon launching, the units were affordably priced at beginning rates of around RM185,000. However, prices have since soared to about RM380,000 in the subsale market. Rental units are available at a monthly RM800.

Despite its affordability, the facilities offered at Idaman Idris are more than the basic car park. Residents get to enjoy a swimming pool, sauna, gymnasium, barbecue area, and a multi-purpose hall. There is even a jogging track and landscaped garden.

Idaman Iris is within walking distance to several commercial shop-lots where amenities such as eateries and convenience stores can be found. SK Sungai Ara and the Hope Children Hospital are also nearby. Other amenities are just a short drive away in places like D’Piazza Mall, a Giant hypermarket in Bayan Baru and even Queensbay Mall.

Idaman Iris is ideally located just mere minutes from the Industrial Free Trade Zones of Bayan Lepas. Access to both the first and second Penang bridges are also within 15 minutes. Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah also connects the property to the Penang International Airport, Teluk Kumbar, the first Penang bridge, as well as Georgetown. The Tun Dr. Lim Chong Eu Expressway also provides an alternative route to Georgetown and the two bridges.

Given its location and mid-range price, Idaman Iris is a suitable residence for those working in Bayan Lepas and even for investors looking to buy a property with potentially stable rental yields, given that the demand to live near Bayan Lepas will constantly be there.
