8 Avenue is a commercial centre located in the heart of Petaling Jaya. Aside from having excellent accessibility to highways and public transportations, this area also has many eateries and restaurants within short walking distance, a bounty for those who work in 8 Avenue.

The place is however not very fully occupied, with many units still remaining empty to-date. The most steady occupants of this place who have been here since its opening is the Nirmala tuition centre, and Pan Cafe which was previously located in PJ New Town and was then known as Pan Bakery.
