Jalan Vermont is a road within Georgetown, Penang, which is parallel to Jalan Macalister and Jalan Utama. The road runs through a residential neighbourhood established there many years ago. Sizeable semi-detached and bungalow homes line Jalan Vermont, with a number of newer homes built over the existing ones. There are some recently-completed modern bungalows as well.

The homes along Jalan Vermont are sizeable, with all units being either double-storey or triple-storey in height. The units are at least 5,950 sf in built-up size, with ample land space for a large porch and private garden. Given the location and size of the landed homes, it is no surprise that units on the market come with a hefty price tag of at least RM6,500,000. Rental is also on the high end at a whopping RM30,000 per month.

Jalan Vermont is situated within the vicinities of many matured townships and commercial hubs, where banks, eateries, restaurants, mini markets and more are within easy reach. Gurney Drive is also mere minutes away, where supermarkets, retail outlets, a cinema and more are offered within the Gurney Paragon and Gurney Plaza shopping malls there.

There are also several hospitals nearby, namely Island Hospital, Hospital Pulau Pinang, the Loh Guan Lye Specialist Centre and the Gleneagles Penang Medical Centre. Schools and educational institutions within the proximity of Jalan Vermont are also aplenty, including SMJK Union, St. Christopher’s International School, SMK Padang Polo, The One Academy Penang and more.

Jalan Vermont enjoys unprecedented access to other parts of Georgetown, with major roads like Jalan Macalister, Jalan Perak, Jalan Burma and Jalan Kelawai nearby. Pengkalan Weld and the Tun Dr. Lim Chong Eu Expressway are also just minutes away, enabling access to the first Penang bridge about 10 minutes away and the town of Bayan Lepas a little over 25 minutes away.
