South Bayu Residences is a residential apartment developed by BBN Development Sdn. Bhd.. It is one of the last phases of lakefront residences planned in the Putra Nilai area, where BBN has been heavily involved in. The 3.3 acre land development houses 158 units, which are divided into the high-rise Sky Villa and low-rise Town Villa complexes.

The built-up of the Sky Villa and the Town Villa units in South Bayu Residences are 1,150 sf and 1,252 sf respectively, which are decent the built-up sizes for apartment units. The Sky Villa units house 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, while the Town Villa units have 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. As such, the South Bayu Residences is highly recommended for young adults, newly weds looking to start on family planning, as well as those who already have a family.

Being a lakefront residential area, tenants are rewarded with a private landscaped park which houses facilities that provide recreation. Residents of the apartment are also given nice views of the lake, courtesy of the balconies in their units. The slightly isolated nature of the location may be a bit of a disadvantage, but there is always the bright side of peace and quiet to look forward to.

The amenities that are nearby also provide convenience to the tenants of South Bayu Residences. Financial and banking institutions, as well as hypermarkets such as a Giant and a Tesco are all within the area. The South Bayu Residences is also in the middle of Nilai’s education hub, with a handful of higher education institutions within reach. The nearest is the INTI International University, which is adjacent to South Bayu Residences. Other institutions nearby are Nilai University College, Manipal International University, and Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM).

There is also ease of travel for those who stay at South Bayu Residences, especially good news for working professionals who travel frequently to the Klang Valley. The South Bayu Residences is located accessible to the North-South Expressway (NSE), the Nilai-KLIA Highway, the Maju Expressway, and the KESAS Highway, which also means that home buyers in the Klang Valley interested in investing or relocating here are also welcomed.
