Situated off Jalan Bagan Jermal, Jermal Jaya is within reach of certain amenities along the road, such as eateries and a veterinarian. More amenities can be found along Jalan Burma not too far off, where the many commercial lots offer restaurants, eateries, hawker centres, clinics, banks and the likes. Schools in the vicinities include the Penang Chinese Girls’ High School, while the Penang Adventist Hospital is close at hand. Shopping malls such as Gurney Plaza and Gurney Paragon are also just a short distance away at Gurney Drive.
Jermal Jaya is located along Jalan Bagan Jermal, which ends at an intersection branching out to Jalan Tanjung Tokong (to Batu Ferringhi), Gurney Drive and Jalan Kelawai. While on the other end of Jalan Bagan Jermal is Jalan Burma, which connects the property to the Georgetown city centre. Further down along the aforementioned road is Weld Quay and the Tun Dr. Lim Chong Eu Expressway, which links to the first Penang bridge as well as towns like Bayan Lepas.
