Taman Limau Manis is an established neighbourhood in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. Commercial lots as well as a variety of residential titles make up the neighbourhood, with landed terraces, as well as an apartment residence within.
The terrace homes at Taman Limau Manis are double-storey in height, appearing to be rather large in size without being too closely cramped together. Though the original design of the homes only has space for 1 car to be parked in the porch, most of the homes have been renovated with wider gates to enable the porch to fit 2 cars. Few of the homes are vacant, with most being in well-maintained conditions.
Other than that, there is an apartment residence, known as Limau Manis Apartment, comprising several 10-storey blocks. These affordable residences were built for the lower to lower-medium income group, and as such, do not offer facilities other than parking lots within the compounds of the apartment.
There are also several rows of double-storey shop offices within Taman Limau Manis, where a range of businesses like eateries, convenience stores, mini markets, laundromats, hardware stores and even motor vehicle repair shops can be found. Schools within the neighbourhood include SJK (C) Peng Bin while more choices will require a short drive to the town of Bukit Mertajam.
Located in the established and matured township of Bukit Mertajam, more amenities can be found within the vicinity of Taman Limau Manis. Banks, clinics, pharmacies, eateries, restaurants, post offices and more are available at the many commercial hubs along Persiaran Limau Manis where the neighbourhood is situated, as well as Jalan Bukit Tengah not too far off.
Jalan Bukit Tengah is the main route which connects Taman Limau Manis to other parts of town and mainland Penang. Up north of this road will link to Jalan Baru, which then leads to the town of Bukit Mertajam about 10 minutes away. The North-South Expressway (NSE) is also accessible from the neighbourhood, which then connects to the first Penang bridge about 15 minutes away.
