Taman Nilam Tanjung is a neighbourhood of landed homes located in Batu Kawan, Penang. Established some years ago, the development houses terraces and bungalows, all built over freehold land.

There are several types of homes within Taman Nilam Tanjung, where the terraces come in single-storey and double-storey types. The smaller, 1-storey units are 800 sf in built-up size, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Following that is the 2-storey type, which offers 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms within 2,600 sf of built-up space. The bungalow units are also 2-storeys, but are surprisingly less spacious, at 1,440 sf with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

Much like other older neighbourhoods, Taman Nilam Tanjung does not provide facilities to its residents. The development is also not gated and guarded. However, amenities are conveniently within reach, with eateries, bakeries, clinics and more just a short distance away. There is also SK Batu Kawan and SJK (T) Ladang Batu Kawan nearby. More amenities can be found in the towns of Batu Kawan and Bukit Tambun a quick drive away.

Situated a quick drive from Jalan Bukit Tambun and Lebuhraya Bandar Cassia, Taman Nilam Tanjung enjoys convenient access to the North-South Expressway (NSE), where the former road leads to the Bukit Tambun toll plaza of the NSE while the latter links to the Batu Kawan toll plaza. From the Batu Kawan toll plaza, access to the second Penang bridge is also possible.
