Taman Sri Perkasa Baru is a housing development situated along Jalan Maju Jaya in Ipoh. It offers 48 two-storey terrace homes built on plots measuring 20’ x 70’. These include the Asia Metropolitan International School (AMETIS), Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Pantai Hospital Ipoh and Ipoh Parade.

Schools in the vicinity include SJK (C) Yuk Choy, Shen Jai High School, SK Sungai Rokam and SMK Gunung Rapat. Taman Sri Perkasa Baru is also situated within close proximity to the light industrial area of Kinta Jaya.

Potential buyers, however, need to take note that the development is situated near to the airport and a training institute for the air force, so airplanes flying overhead are to be expected. Nevertheless, the homes here are good options to be considered for a relatively affordable (with prices under RM400,000 when first launched) place to stay in Ipoh.
