Dengkil is a small yet well developed Malaysian town in Sepang. For an unassuming small sized town, Dengkil packs a punch all because of its location. Strategically lying between Cyberjaya to the north and Salak Tinggi to the south, Dengkil is also close to Putrajaya, Port Klang, and the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), so much so that there were plans to remodel the town as an “Airport City”.

Public amenities in and around the area include hospitals and hypermarkets along with local cuisine, offering a refreshing balance of a proportionate mix between Chinese and Malay, shopping malls and educational institutions. There is also a recreational park in Dengkil in the form of the Nilai Spring Golf Resort. In a business sense, located within its vicinity is the Telok Panglima Garang Free Trade Zone so that those working in its business sector can enjoy a comfortable commute to and fro.

However, early in the year 2014, there were reports of lack of lights in tunnels and clogged drains. As a result, motorcyclists using the tunnels were mugged in the night, while rain water collected in the drains, a perfect breeding ground for Aedes mosquitoes.
