Bandar Kinrara is a high density township in Puchong. While residents of Bandar Kinrara are spoilt for choice when it comes to amenities and facilities, they will also have to deal with the daily traffic congestions during peak hours.

Launched in 1991, this 1,904-acre township was only 80% completed in 2014, and is expected to have a total of 14,500 units of homes upon its completion with a population of 72,500 residents as according to its developers.

Backed by a solid reputation and being an inaugural winner for the Edge-PEPS Value Creation Excellence Award for two consecutive years, prices of property in Bandar Kinrara have deservedly risen between 40% to 100% since its launch, while new launches experience as much as a 25% increment in value within two years of its launch.

Nevertheless, as it is a high density residential area, Bandar Kinrara is rather prone to criminal activities as well and residents have voiced out their frustrations. Despite the rise in crime rates, property prices in Bandar Kinrara has continued to rise and plans are being made to increase its accessibility.

Some of the attractions of Bandar Kinrara includes an 18-hole golf club called Kinrara Golf Club where the membership is open for anyone and the Ayer Hitam Forest Reserve.

While the prices of essential goods have shown a variation in the Percentage Changes, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) on the other hand indicates a reality of ever increasing prices in essential goods with increments between the years 2011 - 2015 at 102.7 in 2011, 105.1 in 2012, 107.3 in 2013, 111.0 in 2014, 113.8 in 2015.
