描述

Uptown 1 is a commercial development, a brainchild of developer See Hoy Chan Group Sdn. Bhd. It is an office tower stretching 19 storeys high, and it is one of the Multimedia Service Corridor (MSC) designated cybercentres in Malaysia, which allowing the building to host MSC entities. Its typical layout sees a built-up of 12,389 sf, of which can be partitioned to make out different lots. The lowest rental price for these lots start from RM2,100 as of 2017.

Despite being a building that was completed in 1998, the tower did not stay in its time. One of its features include a smart-turnstile security system, that requires an access card to enter the building, which means safety is assured from the entrance onwards. For visitors, there is an integrated management system at the concierge. Its car parks are also equipped with panic buttons, in case of any emergencies. The building is also eco-friendly, it was awarded the GreenRE Gold Award for incorporating green and sustainable features as well as practices.

Within the building itself, Uptown 1 boasts a number of big names as its tenants. Companies like Deloitte and Buena Vista are a few of its examples. Apart from that, it is also close to a number of amenities in Damansara Utama township, being in the centre of the town itself. The Starling Mall, part of a new integrated development, is located a stone’s throw away from the building, and will be able to provide entertainment, services, shopping and F&B choices.

The first phase of Damansara Utama area will provide more alternatives in terms of amenities, it is also just a short walk away. It is home to many well-known restaurants such as the Village Park Nasi Lemak and A Pie Thing. Apart from that, cafes are also scattered around the area, while other commercial outlets include boutiques, banks, service centres, convenience store, mini marts, and more.

The Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP) is one of the easiest and most convenient route to access Uptown 1, connecting tenants to other townships such as Kelana Jaya, Kota Damansara, Bandar Utama, Mutiara Damansara and Kepong. Although traffic may be a bit of a problem, especially during rush hour, this has since been lessened with the road expansion works and introduction of the Mass Rapid Transit lines, whose TTDI station is not too far away.
