Opulenia is a neighbourhood of terrace homes located in Shah Alam, Selangor. Established in 2011, the 140 homes are part of the Denai Alam development, designed around the concept of “kampung” style communal living. The Opulenia homes are spacious and inviting, with ample landscaped greenery around the neighbourhood. There are Type A and Type B terraces available, with the former being dual frontage and the latter are typical single frontage homes. There are 3 different layouts of the Type A homes, which are the Type Aa, Type A2a and Type A3a. These dual frontage, 2-storey homes are extra thoughtful in the design of the front facade and even the back. At 2,648 sf, the Type Aa units offer 3+2 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The Type A2a is a little roomier at 3,403 sf, housing 4+2 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The Type A3a is the most spacious, with 5+2 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms in 3,982 sf of built-up space. Type B units also come in 3 different choices, where Type Ba is 2,806 sf in size. This is followed by Type B2a at 3,649 sf and Type B3a at 2,806 sf. Each type has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, while the Type Ba has an extra storeroom. The other 2 on the other hand, also have a storeroom as well as a utility room which can be turned into a maid’s room. Facilities provided to residents of Opulenia include a children’s playground and parklands. The landscaped walkways also connect parts of the neighbourhood, where residents can take strolls or jog along the path. Water features around the neighbourhood also provide calm and soothing sounds as residents enjoy some outdoor time. Amenities can be found along Jalan Elektron just outside the Opulenia neighbourhood, with commercial lots housing eateries, convenience stores and the likes. There is even a McDonald’s McCafe outlet in the area. Hypermarkets like a Tesco and Giant are also not too far off, while equestrian enthusiast can rejoice in the neighbourhoods’ proximity to the Denai Alam Recreational and Riding Club (DARC). Golf-lovers can also be glad that the Sultan Abdul Aziz Golf Club, Monterez Golf Club and Guthrie Golf Academy are nearby. Schools like SMK Subang, SK Subang and SJK (C) Subang among others are also close by. Accessible to Kota Damansara which is just 6km away, as well as Mont Kiara, Subang and Petaling Jaya, Opulenia is connected to these established towns and the Klang Valley via a range of major highways. These include the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE), Shah Alam Expressway and so on.
