The main means of transportation in and out of Kuala Selangor is cars, buses or taxis due to a lack of good road infrastructure. There were plans to construct an LRT train and station connecting Bestari Jaya, Puncak Alam, and Shah Alam but the plans had been discontinued since 2012. Residents and tourists alike only have the option of travelling to Kuala Selangor via terminal buses and taxis. These buses are located at the Terminal Bus Kuala Selangor.
